MacDermid ColorSpan - specialty custom printing of signs, memory books, remembrance books, course packets, wall paper, ceramic tile, murals, fabric, banners, vinyl, flags, decals, window clings, magnets and more Design-engineered to be a production sign system, the ColorSpan 9840UV features the ability to print on rigid sheets or flexible roll stock up to 98 inches (2.5 meters) wide and 2.75 inches (70 mm) thick. Using a vacuum belt media drive system and sixteen (16) 600-dpi Micro-Quad™ piezo-electric printheads, the ColorSpan 9840UV delivers true 600 x 600-dpi quality and print speeds up to 811 square feet (75.4 m2) / hour on the widest variety of media.

Whether you are printing directly onto multiple pre-cut sign boards at one time, or eight-foot-wide sheets of MDO/MDF sign boards, the ColorSpan 9840UV does it fast, accurately and with high quality. This is Mimaki's new generation wide format solvent inkjet printer employing newly developed print heads. The JV5 series provides an ultra-high print speed of 430sq.ft/hr at a high quality resolution of 540x1080dpi. The new generation JV5 responds to the needs of power users and quick delivery by using a newly developed print head with 4 times the speed of most solvent printers.
